Prefabricated Biomass/ Woodchip Boiler Houses

Supply of prefabricated Boilerhouse Enclosures for various renewable energy projects throughout the UK.

These are generally supplied as a Steel chassis, then the boiler house is built internally and finally clad in timber or Kingspan cladding.

Offsite manufactured industrial Plant rooms

Supply of prefabricated Plantroom Enclosures.

These enclosures can contain anything from Air conditioning systems, Electrical transformers compressed air sytems, pumps and motors.

High specificity sound attenuated Generator Enclosures

Enclosures made to suit various Engine sizes, and Noise suppression Levels.

All generator enclosures are fully immersion tested for floor bunding, and all pipes, and tanks are pressure tested and certified using our own in house equipment.

We can provide Solidworks 2D/3D Design and Printing services

QED uses the latest in 3D solid modelling software to fully design all manufactured products.
The software can import client 3D or 2D ACAD files from external sources and can provide 3D viewer models and complete manufacturing drawings to clients for sign-off.

We offer the complete in house design service.

QED uses the latest in 3D solid modelling software to fully design all manufactured products.
The software provides CNC output files directly to the shopfloor equipment using CAD/CAM to the sheet HD metal profiler and brake press.

The software can also import client 3D or 2D ACAD files from external sources and can provide 3D viewer models and complete manufacturing drawings to clients for sign-off. The software can also export CAD design information directly to Architects to overlay on overall site design plans.

Cutting edge engineering & production facilities.

The workshop situated near Moira is 25000sq ft, boasting the very latest in metalworking equipment.
Including a 225ton 4-metre CNC press, a 3-metre 170 ton corrugation press, a 6mx2m HD plasma profiler, 4-metre guillotine, digital hydraulic pipebender and the Latest in fully calibrated ESAB 400A welding machines.

Qualmet production team.

The production team at Qualmet consists of highly skilled welder/fabricators many of whom are fully coded, proficient in the manufacture of Stainless steel, Aluminium and mild steel.

The team have many years of experience spanning Architectural metalwork, production and general engineering. The workflow is planned and monitored using a Kanban manufacturing system.
